- Training: The ICT trains scientific cadres with advanced level (Master, Ph.D) in chemistry and chemical technology
- International collaborations: Institute of Chemical Technology has traditional and good relations with some institutes and universities in France, Germany, Russia, Japan and Korean.
- ICT participated in Vietnam- France Catalysis Project in the period 1995-1999
- Vietnam-France Water Environment Project from 2000-2004
- Catalysis Project between Brement Institute ( Germany) and ICT (1998-2000)
