Vietnam – 21st member of International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis

Under the direction of the Prime Minister and the help of the Vietnam Embassy in Austria, the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology (VAST) presided over and coordinated with relevant agencies (including the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Justice) to carry out negotiations to join the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA). At the 83^rd Council meeting at Laxenburg, Austria, IIASA held an official ceremony to welcome Vietnam as the 21^st member.
