Goal and objectives of the project

Research on methodology and develop optimal power flow software for microgrid system taking into account the dependency on frequency and voltage of loads and generators

Main results

- Theoretical results: The thesis has proposed the optimal calculation method of power flow in the microgrid system independently operating taking into account to the dependence on the frequency and voltage of the source and load based on GSO algorithm. The project has also built a software module that could operate on matlab environment software and tested for IEEE power grids to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method and construction software.

- Applied results: The results of the thesis can be applied in the control and operation of microgrids operating independently, microgrids will be built more and more mainstream in the Vietnamese electricity system in the future.

Novelty and actuality and scientific meaningfulness of the results

- The authors have been proposed the process of applying GSO algorithm to optimize the capacity flow for microgrids operating independently.
- The method of solving power flow problem on three phase balanced and unbalanced microgirds system has been introduced and an effective calculation tool has been built on matlab environment. This is a new method, which will replace the traditional methods in the context of Vietnam's electricity system has gradually similar sources of capacity scale, and no source could be slack_bus which has a great power capacity to take responsibility frequency regulation in the system.

Products of the project
