Goal and objectives of the project

- Clarification of relationship between Au-sulfide mineralization with granitoid intrusionsin Lo Gam structure, Northeast Vietnam;
- Prospect of the Au-sulfide mineralizationin the Lo Gam structure.

Main results

Theoretical results:
- Clarification of composition characteristics and formation age of granitic rocks and Au-sulfide mineralizations in the Chiem Hoa District, Tuyen Quang Province;
- Establishing the gold mineralization has direct relationship to the granitoid magmatism and building the exploration model for granitoid intrusion-related gold system;
- Establishing the prospecting criteria and buildingthe prospective mapfor Au-sulfide mineralization in the Lo Gam structure at 1:200.000 scale.

Applied results:
Study on composition features of mineralizations and granitoid rocks in Lo Gam structure (Au-As-Sb deposits and granitoid rocks in Tuyen Quang province) are necessarynot only for management, exploitation andusage of mineral resources, but also very useful for mineral exploitation and processing company, especially expanding prospect of the exiting ore areas, discovering new deposits and using minerals in an environmentally friendly way.
